  3. 3. Issue PPE

    What could go wrong

    Poor or missing PPE

    How we control it

Issue and fit the PPE for the tasks. Show how to check and care for it.

  4. 4. Pair up

    What could go wrong

    Doing the job without support

    How we control it

Assign an experienced buddy. Check in during the day and at the end.

  • New workers are at higher risk in their first weeks. Encourage them to ask questions.

When to use it

Use it for every new starter and for people who return after a long absence.

Review it with the crew before the work starts, change anything that doesn't match how you'll do the job, and update it when the method, the equipment, or the site changes.

Use this JHA in Reldro

  • It arrives ready to edit, and your crew uses it on their phone, even without signal.
  • Failed items become corrective actions with an owner and a due date.
  • Every completed one is kept with the site, the date and who did it.
