My certifications separates three kinds of record
Completed in Reldro, external certification and verified certification are each labelled for what they are.

What changed
A completion record is issued when someone passes and can be printed. It says that the person finished a course version in Reldro, and that it is not an outside certification. Cards added from outside providers and cards a safety lead has checked appear beside it.
Why it matters
Nobody mistakes a course completion for a licence, and an auditor can tell which records were checked.
