Course versions keep people on the version they started

Publishing freezes a course as a version. Someone part-way through finishes that version, and their record says which one.

Version 2026.11.3Learn

What changed

Every publish creates a numbered version with a note and the name of who published it. Existing enrolments keep the version they began. New assignments get the newest.

How it works

Edit the working copy as often as you like. Workers see nothing new until you publish again.

Why it matters

Changing a procedure does not quietly change what people were already taught, and the record shows exactly which wording a person completed.
